Despite being originally pencilled in for April, it appears that Minecraft Dungeons will be dropping on Switch (as well as everywhere else) next month, with the game’s official releases date now being 26 May.

That’s according to the official Twitter account, which dropped a brief 15 second trailer to announce the news. Take a look:

Despite boasting the familiar blocky artstyle of the OG Minecraft, Minecraft Dungeons is an entirely different kettle of fish. Inspired by dungeon crawlers like Diablo, it sees you team up with up to three friends - either in person or online - to lay waste to hordes of baddies, collect treasure, and power up your arsenal.
