Nintendo have launched a brand new app, offering My Nintendo members a bunch of handy features.
The app in question is currently only available in Japan, but can be found on both iOS and Android devices. It allows users to buy games, as well as view videos such as Nintendo Directs. On top of that you’ll also be able to view your play records for Switch, 3DS and Wii U - assuming you have a Nintendo Network ID linked to your account on those deices.
Plus, if you’re attending any live events or Nintendo’s official store in Tokyo, you’ll be able to check in using the the QR code reader within the app. That’s often linked to giveaways and freebies at certain events, so it’l make it worth having for attendees.
There’s no word on whether a similar service will be headed to the West as yet, but we;ll be sure to keep you posted. In the meantime, check out a few promotional shots below and let us know if you’d like to see it make it’s way to these shores down in the comments.
