Monty Mole LEGO Expansion Set Also Arriving In August

Yesterday we got an official launch date for the upcoming Super Mario LEGO sets, with the eagerly-anticipated crossover arriving on 1 August. Pre-orders are now live, and there’s an added bonus for those of you who order the starter pack early.

The starter pack is needed to make proper use of the various expansions - with Bowser’s Castle and Piranha Plant packs also being revealed yesterday. However, fans who pre-order the starter pack will also get a new Monty Mole and Super Mushroom Expansion pack thrown in for free. Here’s a couple of photos of said expansion:

The freebie is available when pre-ordering from the official LEGO store. Pre-orders from other retailers will only receive the Super Mushroom. There’s no pre-orders available for the expansion sets as yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know when they do go live.
