If you were eagerly booting up the eShop this morning in the hope of downloading Star Wars Episode 1: Racer you’ve probably been searching the store for the game in vain.

Aspyr, the developer behind the port, have taken to Twitter to announce that they’ve had to push back the release of the game:

We are so excited to share Star Wars Episode l: Racer with you soon! Unfortunately, due to the ongoing work from home requirements across the industry, the game will be further delayed on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. We’ll be back with an update as soon as possible.

With coronavirus restrictions still engulfing a lot of lives, it’s not overly surprising that games are seeing delays. We’ll keep you posted as to when the game gets a new release date.
