Nintendo and LEO have revealed several ‘Power-Up Packs’ for the upcoming LEGO Super Mario figure. The hat and overalls combos will allow players to earn extra coins by performing certain actions.

There’s four packs available, the Fire Flower, Propeller Mushoom, Cat Suit and Super Mario Maker outfit. The first one lets players tilt Mario to launch fireballs (well, at least generate the sound effect for them), whilst waving Propeller Mario around in the air will earn some extra coins.

The Cat Mario suit earns coins by ‘running up walls’, whilst the Builder Mario can be slammed downwards on unsuspecting bricks for some extra cash too. Obviously you’ll need the Starter Course to use these, as that seems to be the only place you can get the actual Mario figurine.
