Those of you who’ve been collecting the Super Smash Bros amiibo may have been wondering where the figures were for the additional characters that have joined Ultimate’s lineup since release. Well, during today’s Min Min presentation, Sakurai confirmed that amiibo are being developed for the Fighters Pass characters.

Revealing a Joker amiibo due this Fall, as well as a prototype Hero amiibo, Sakurai reassured fans that the extra entries to the roster hadn’t been forgotten, but did warn that they would only be produced in limited quantities.

No doubt fans will be falling over themselves to snap up the figures as soon as pre-orders go live, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for those release dates. We’ll of course let you know what they are as soon as we do!
