EA revealed last week that they’ve got 7 games lined up for Nintendo Switch this year. During their EA Play Live presentation, Respawn Entertainment’s Alex Ackerman announced that the publisher had more than half a dozen games lined up for Nintendo fans over the next year, saying "you can expect seven new games coming to Switch in the next 12 months.”

One of those was Burnout Paradise Remastered which arrived on Switch last Friday, and we also learned of an Apex Legends port as well as a legacy edition of FIFA 21 and the EA Originals title Lost In Random from Zoink games.

The other four have now been revealed by Venture Beat’s Jeff Grubman, who’s sources inform him that the trio of titles rounding out the slate include a remaster of 2010’s Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, a port of Plants Vs Zombies: Battle for Neighbourville and a new title from indie developer Velan Studios.

If the reports are accurate it means Switch fans won’t be getting the likes of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order or The Sims anytime soon, but it’s encouraging to see the publisher warming to the platform, if only a little.

Any of those titles sound good to you? Let us know down in the comments.
