Joker and Hero amiibo Arriving In September

At the tail end of Min Min’s Super Smash Bros Ultimate presentation, we got news of the first pair of amiibo figures for the game’s DLC characters.
At the time, the Joker and Hero statuettes were only slated for a ‘Fall’ release, but we’ve now got hard and fast release dates for the pair. Nintendo UK fired off the following tweet and mini-trailer this morning, confirming a 25 September release date:
Our US-dwelling counterparts will have to wait an extra week for theirs, with the Nintendo America Twitter account posting the same video with a 2 October launch date.
We’ve not seen anything about pre-orders or any retailer exclusivity yet, but we’ll let you know once they start popping up! Let us know if you’ll be adding these two to your collection down in the comments.
