Cadence of Hyrule, the rhythm-based Zelda spinoff, is getting some additional content later this year in the form of three DLC packs.

Announced during today’s Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Presentation, the first of three packs features new characters including Impa, Aria, Shadow Link and Shadow Zelda as well as Frederick.

39 songs featuring remixed versions of the game’s music are included in the second Melody Pack.

Finally, the third pack - Symphony of the Mask - lets you play as the Skull Kid with a new map, songs and story, as well as different abilities depending on which mask he dons.

As mentioned the first pack is available today, and will cost £5.39 here in the UK. There’s a Season Pass also available, with the other two packs - which will launch by October - included. Fans who pick it up will get bonus costumes for Link and Zelda. That one can be picked up for £13.49. If you want to pick either of the second or third packs individually, they’ll cost £5.39 and £8.99 respectively.

The game will also be getting a physical release later this year, with all of the DLC included. That’s arriving on 23 October, so we can expect all three DLC packs to have arrived by then.

Will you be picking any of these up? Let us know down in the comments!
