Activision "Evaluating Additional Platforms" For Crash Bandicoot 4

In case you missed it, Activision recently announced Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was headed to PS4 and Xbox One. Developer Toys for Bob are working on the game, which is due for release in October.
There’d been no word of Switch version, despite the remastered N. Sane Trilogy (and the remastered Spyro trilogy) arriving on Switch after previously launching on other systems.
Fans hoping this follow-up will make its way over to Nintendo’s system have been thrown a little bit of a lifeline though, as Activision haven’t completely ruled out a port.
Speaking to PCGamesN - who asked about a PC port - a representative said:
“We are still evaluating additional platforms for a future date. Stay tuned for more information.”
Given the delay to the port of the previous three games its perhaps not totally surprising that Switch fans would have to wait for Crash’s fourth adventure. It’s encouraging to hear that Activision are actively discussing ‘additional platforms’ though!
Would you pick this up on Switch? Let us know down in the comments!
