As well as Monster Hunter Rise, today’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase also revealed that a second Monster Hunter Stories game will be coming next year.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is slated for a Summer 2021 release, and sees players take the role of a Monster Rider, taking on quests across the Monster Huner universe, The story sees you entrusted with a Rathalos egg which you must look after following the disappearance of many Rathalos from the world.

The game will also speak to Monster Hunter Rise in some way, though how exactly is unclear so far. More details are expected at a later date, with additional info about both games being revealed at Tokyo Game Show’s digital event later this month.
