Animal Crossing New Horizons Halloween Update Detailed

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is getting its latest free update next week, and it’s adding a whole bunch of spooktacular new features in time for halloween.
Arguably the most exciting is the ability to grow pumpkins. Pumpkin starts will be available all year from Leif (so it sounds like you’ll be able to grow them year-round), as well as from Nook’s Cranny during October. You’ll be able to use these pumpkins in a number of DIY recipes.
There’s also a bunch of Halloween-themed outfits headed to the Able Sisters’ shop throughout October, and you’ll be able to set off the outfit using facepaint and spooky contact lenses in exchange for Nook Miles.
As for Halloween itself, Jack the ‘Halloween-czar’ will be in the plaza from 5pm, exchanging prizes for lollipops and candy which players can stock up on throughout the month. Villagers will also try and prank you if you don’t give them candy too, so it’s worth having a few extras on hand!
Outside of the Halloween festivities the update also allows you to save a list of your favourite Dream islands to revisit at a later date, and the NookLink app will also be getting an update; letting players use reactions via a tap on their smartphone.
As an added treat, all players who download the update will also receive a Ring Fit Adventure Ring-Con in game to help their villager stay in shape after all that candy!
Check out the video below to learn all about the update, and feat your eyes on a few screenshots too!
