Update: It’s here, and it’s pretty epic! It looks like Mario is teaming up with Bowser Jr for some reason, in a battle against a gargantuan Bowser. First impressions seem to indicate a single, open level more akin to Super Mario Odyssey than the rest of Super Mario 3D World too.

Original Story: Whilst many may have been expecting an entire Direct dedicated to Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury this month, Nintendo have apparently decided to keep things short and sweet, teasing a new trailer for the game instead.

Taking to Twitter, they’ve announced that a 2 minute long video will be revealed later today. The wording of the tweet suggests that we’ll finally get a look at the mysterious Bowser’s Fury expansion to the Wii U platformer.

The trailer will be airing at 2pm UK time / 9am EST / 6am PST. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury itself will be launching on Switch next month, with the release date slated for 12 February.
