Sega Teasing 'Something Special' Later Today

There’s a number of anniversaries taking place in 2021. The Legend of Zelda turns 35, Pokémon is celebrating 25 years of cramming massive creatures into tiny balls, and one Sonic the Hedgehog hits the big 3 0.

That being the case, it’s unsurprising that Sega would have some exciting plans scheduled for the blue blur this year, and it looks like we may be getting our first look at such celebrations later today.

Sega have announced their first live stream of 2021 will be taking place later today, and are teasing ‘something special’ therein:

There’s no guarantee that the surprise is Sonic related of course, but we’d be surprised if it isn’t given the auspicious year for the spiky blue one.

Let us know what you’re hoping to see down in the comments!
