Well guys and girls, the wait is finally over. Nintendo have announced a brand new, full, mainline Nintendo Direct for later this week and it sounds like it will be jam packed.

Taking to Twitter, the Big N revealed the Great Nintendo Direct drought will be coming to an end tomorrow, with the 50 minute presentation due to take place at 10:00pm UK time.

Tune in tomorrow at 22:00 (UK time) for a #NintendoDirect livestream featuring roughly 50 minutes of information focussed on available games like #SmashBrosUltimate and games coming to #NintendoSwitch in the first half of 2021.

As you can see from the above tweet, the showcase will feature new content for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - so we can most likely expect to learn who’ll be joining Min Min, Steve and Sephiroth in Fighters Pass Vol 2 - as well as more upcoming games slated for the first half of this year.

Whatever they have in store, we’re just delighted that we’re getting a full Nintendo Direct once again, after last year saw mostly Direct Minis, Indie World Showcases and announcements on social media.
