Nintendo kicked off their latest Nintendo Direct today with the news that Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be joining the roster in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
The two-in-one fighter will be the fourth character added to Fighters Pass Vol 2, following in the footsteps of Min Min, Steve, and Sephiroth.
There’s no specific word yet on when they’ll be available to players, but Nintendo promise that “more information about Pyra/Mythra’s move set, as well as their exact release date, will be revealed in the future.” That suggests that we’ll be getting another Mr Sakurai Presents video at some point soon, with Mr Takahashi stating during the Direct that the pair will be arriving in March.
Check out the reveal at the very beginning of the Nintendo Direct below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to playing as the pair down in the comments!
