Nintendo Looking To Renovate Existing Stages For Splatoon 3

The news of Splatoon 3 was certainly a huge surprise at the close of this week’s Nintendo Direct, and eager fans have already been scouring the web for more information about the game.
As it turns out, Nintendo’s own Twitter account seems to have provided a morsel of information, with the job spec for a level designer hinting that we could well see some returning stages.
The post lists ‘renovation of existing stages’ as part of the role’s duties. Nintendo were more than happy to repurpose some stages from the first game in Splatoon 2, so it stands to reason we could see some favourites returning in the third game.
Still, it will be interesting to see just how those classic stages are remixed, given that the game no longer takes place in Inkopolis, instead moving the action to a new region by the name of the Splatlands.
Are you glad to hear some existing stages could well be retuning in Splatoon 3? Let us know down in the comments.
