Nintendo’s own Direct may have been the big news of the week, but Blizzard have also been holding their digital BlizzCon event, with a few announcements of their own.

Chief amongst them is the news that classic dungeon crawler Diablo II is getting the remaster treatment, with Diablo II: Resurrected headed to PC and consoles - including Switch - later this year.

Players will be able to enjoy new audio and visuals - although you can switch back to the old graphics if you prefer - as well as the same classic gameplay that Blizzard promises has been preserved. The release will also include both the base game and the Lord of Destruction expansion.

No hard and fast release date yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know when we have one. In the meantime, check out the trailer below and sound off in the comments if you’re hyped for this one!
