Reggie To Present At The Game Awards

Reggie may have retired as president of Nintendo of America, but he hasn’t left the games industry completely it seems. The Game Awards have announced over on their Twitter page the the Regginator will be returning to the Game Awards stage later this week as a presenter.
He famously rocked up last year alongside Sony’s Shawn Layden and Xbox’s Phil Spencer in a pretty iconic moment.
We’ll have to wait and see what it is exactly Reggie will be presenting at this year’s awards (one of the ten new games the show’s got lined up perhaps) but it’ll be great to see Reggie front and center of a big industry event once again.
The awards themselves are being held on Thursday 12 December at 8:30pm Eastern Time, 5:30pm Pacific, 7:30pm Central and 1:30 AM Friday morning in the UK. Smash Bros Ultimate is among the nominees for Game of the Year, with a number of other Nintendo games nominated for various gongs.
Are you looking forward to seeing Reggie on our screens once again?
