Sega have launched a new ‘Sonic 2020’ initiative, designed to give us all monthly updates on the blue blur throughout the year as the series approaches it’s 30th anniversary in 2021.

This being the 20 January, they’ve got the ball rolling with some wallpapers and social media icons which you can pick up at the official website here.

As for what else we can expect to hear your guess is as good as ours. There’s the movie arriving in February of course, so you never know - we could see some related goodies to that. Here’s hoping for some game news before too long though!
