Pokémon HOME launched last week, with apps available on both Nintendo Switch and mobile devices allowing players to store, trade and transfer their Pokémon between various versions of the series. Sensor Tower, which tracks mobile download, has some estimates as to how the app fared across its first seven days.
According to the site’s Store Intelligence data, Pokémon HOME was downloaded 1.3 million times across the world, with the US coming in first with 444,000 downloads in the country. Japan was second with 299,000 downloads, and the UK took third place with 74,000 users adding the app to their phones and tablets.
On top of those downloads, Sensor Tower reckon the app has generated roughly $1.8m in revenue in its first week. There are of course three different pricing plans available for the Premium model, and the U.S., Japan, and UK led the way in spending, accounting for 40.8%, 35.3%, and 3.7% of total spend respectively.
A pretty solid start for the service then! Let us know if you’ve been playing around with it down in the comments, and be sure to tell us what you think of it!
