The coronavirus continues to disrupt lives all over the world, and it has now unfortunately been contracted by an employee at Nintendo of America. All employees who came into contact with the effected individual are self-isolating, regardless of whether or not they currently have symptoms.

Nintendo told the Seattle Times in a statement:

“Nintendo of America is supporting this individual as they recover and will continue to take precautions to safeguard the health and well-being of all our employees and the broader community,”

The positive case comes on the back of Nintendo’s earlier decision to allow employees to work from home in an effort to reduce the spread of the virus.
