Animal Crossing: New Horizons may have gotten off to flying start over its launch weekend, but severe stock issues in the UK over the last week saw it slide down the sales charts.

After debuting at number one, the game ended up third last week, behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and FIFA 20. As GamesIndustry.biz reports, it saw an 81% decrease in sales over last week, and all Switch software saw sales slide as retailers struggle to get their hands on system stock.

Although many retailers are closed due to the coronavirus-inspired lockdown, boxed game sales were actually up 124% on a fortnight ago, albeit down by 28% on last week due to the releases of Animal Crossing and Doom Eternal.

Here’s the top ten as compiled by GfK:

  1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

  2. FIFA 20

  3. Animal Crossing: New Horizons

  4. Doom Eternal

  5. Forza Horizon 4

  6. Grand Theft Auto 5

  7. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy

  8. Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled

  9. Spyro Reignited Trilogy

  10. Red Dead Redemption 2
