One of the more eagerly anticipated titles arriving on Switch this year is the return of Streets of Rage. The fourth entry in the series now seemingly has a release date of 23 April. Although that hasn’t been officially announced, listings have shown up in the eShop with that being the date fans can expect to be playing it.
As for pricing, it would appear to be launching at $24.99 in the US, and £22.49 here in the UK. You won’t need to clear much space on your Switch or SD card either, as it will reportedly only require 3.1GB of storage.
The game features the return of Adam Hunter as a playable character, as well as new heroes in the form of his daughter Cherry Hunter and Floyd Iraia. It will also have four player local co-op for the first time, as well as 2 player co-op online.
Not only that, but publisher LizardCube just dropped a new trailer which reveals there will actually be no fewer than 12 playable characters in the game, with many returning favourites available for selection:
We had a great time with a demo of the game at EGX last year and can’t wait to check out the final version. Let us know down in the comments if you’ll be picking this one up! We’ll let you know when the release date is made official by Lizard Cube, the game’s publisher.
