Pikmin 3 Is Back On The Wii U eShop

Back when Pikmin 3 Deluxe was announced last month, Nintendo controversially removed the original version of the game from the Wii U’s eShop.
Many fans saw this as slightly shady on Nintendo’s part, given that the game is currently much cheaper than the upcoming Deluxe version headed to Switch. Others simply saw it as Nintendo looking to avoid confusion with the new SKU, and noted that Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze also disappeared around the time of its Switch port before being reinstated later.
Well, Pikmin 3 has now reappeared on the Wii U eShop at its regular, non-Deluxe price. So if you’ve been waiting until now to pick it up on Wii U for some reason, and aren’t interested in all the extra bells and whistles that come with the Switch release, have at it!
